Following the grand success of the inaugural event 'Kochi Duskathon 2018', the organizers have decided to make the event much bigger. Kochi Duskathon 2019 will attract the largest number of Barefoot runners in a beach run and will be held in association with DTPC Ernakulam and Kerala Tourism in one of the longest and most picturesque beach in Ernakulam district in God's Own Country, Kerala, India. An attempt will be made to break the existing Guinness World Record of Largest Barefoot race.

The second edition of 'Kochi Duskathon 2019' was recently held in Kochi.
The running race, which was held at Kuzhupilly beach in Cherai, promoted the theme of World Tourism Day - 'Tourism and digital transformation.'
Kochi Duskathon 2019, which is expected to attract a large number of barefoot runners in a beach run, will be held from Kuzhuppilly to Cherai, one of the longest and most picturesque beaches in Ernakulam district, at 4 p.m. on Sunday.
Aiming for the Guinness World Record of the world's largest barefoot race, "Kochi Duskathon 2019" is all set for its second edition on April 14. The event will be held at Kuzhupilly beach near Cherai.
The registrations are still open and the DTPC aims a participation of 3,000 runners including 600 foreign tourists for the event to be held on April 14 in the 10-km Kuzhuppilly- Cherai beach section. The inaugural "Kochi Duskathon 2018" edition saw a participation of 1,200 runners.
